Em comemoração ao centenário da Semana de Arte Moderna de São Paulo de 1922, as Baphyanas Brasileyras IV são a quarta de cinco coletâneas do selo Baphyphyna Records a serem lançadas semestralmente até 2022.
O nome é uma homenagem à obra de Heitor Villa-Lobos, as Bachianas Brasileiras.
Esta coleção pretende apresentar o que há de mais moderno na música eletrônica brasileira, cuidadosamente curada pela fundadora do selo, Érica Alves, ao longo de sua pesquisa resultante de seus programas de rádio que exploram o gênero em sua encarnação nacional.

To celebrate the 100-year anniversary of the São Paulo Week of Modern Art of 1922, Baphyanas Brasileyras IV is the fourth of five collections to be released by Baphyphyna Records, once a semester until 2022.
The title is a homage to Brazilian composer Heitor Villa-Lobos' musical masterpiece, Bachianas Brasileiras.
This compilation strives to present what is most modern in electronic music produced in Brazil, and has been carefully curated by the label's founder, Érica Alves, as a result of her research for her radio shows showcasing the genre in her national incarnation.
